Coffee and spreadsheets, in that order. I’m that simple.
Coffee is my one true love and how I survived not only corporate but life in my 20’s and 30s. But now I have to be careful about stacking stimulants, Something I initially rejected as impossible…because give up coffee? No thank you.
But where coffee once calmed down suddenly it meant I could hear the colour of someone’s jumper at the other end of the office.
So, I needed to find a way to preserve an important ritual that means so much to me in a way that most people don’t understand. It’s just coffee right? Nope.
It’s a sacred practice, it’s alchemy.
Its routine, a moment to just exists and a really big, small bit of joy.
They say “never mix business with pleasure”, solid advice right?
But what happens when you discover a colleague’s husband is seriously into coffee?
And not just “likes a flat white”, the kind of passion that turns coffee into an experience, where sourcing exceptional beans matter and with an engineering background that means you know each bean is roasted to exactly the requirements to make it shine and they do decaf?
OHCO Coffee handshake Rachael McKelvey
On a day where I hadn’t stepped outside till late evening, because its month end, there it was on my doorstep, it smelt incredible and made me a little bit emotional. I am lucky to be able to enjoy nice things, and I’ve found my decaffeinated supply.
Thank you OHCO Coffee for your expertise and great service!
While I still haven’t finished month end, working a Saturday morning is definitely a lot better with good coffee.
